Why does a Leather Bound book cost More Than a hard bound book?
Pardon my ignorance, but its a curiosity question. I was at a book store and found 2 identical versions of the same new Bible. The hardbound one was $39 and the leather bound one was $59. Why the price difference? Is it the cost of materials or is leather more durable? Or both?

The cost of the materials and possibly the time to make it. If the leather-bound was made of real leather, then no wonder the price is so high.
