Pentagram Necklace
How to make a really really easy pentagram neckalace!? Please Help!?
I need to make a pentagram necklace but i don’t get allowance so I wanted to make my own!
For this you’ll need:
1.Metal washer the size of the medallion you want,about size of a quarter with small hole in center about the size of a standard paper holepunch.
2.Some photopaper, regular paper works fine if You Can‘t find any.(and a printer of course)
3.A hole-punch tool for paper.
4.Some superglue
5.A can of clear spray-on enamel or acrylic sealant(optional)
6.A pentagram design of your choice.
Next:
1.On your computer,find or make the design of the pentagram that you want.
2.Measure the pentagram to fit the washer, print out two ‘grams on your paper,don’t forget the circular border.
3.Cut Out both pentagrams.
4.make sure you have blankpaper so you dont accidentally glue anything you dont want to.
5.get the washer out,place it down on the blankpaper,
6.get the superglue,and have your pentagram pieces ready,
7.scribble glue on the washer,use superglue very sparingly,smear lines all over the surface as thin as possible
8.place pentagram piece on washer,center,and press lightly,then flip it over,press down gently but firmly to seal it and make sure you dont get glue all over the place,use a clean sheet of paper for each step
9.with the holepunch,take scrap paper,punch out stack of small paper discs.
10.Pancake the discs into the center of the washer,you only need two or three droplets of glue between pieces in the stack.You can also add a secret magik touch at this point by writing a symbol on one of the disks,putting a dry leaf ,flower,whatever between discs in the stack ,as long as it doesnt ruin the piece.Dont leave a pit in the washer,or put too much paper in the center,level it out.
11.Take the other pentagram.Note:center the ‘gram on both sides the way you want so the design doesnt appear crooked.Glue the piece on,seal it,let it dry.
12.The drying takes only a few minutes,If you are going to make the necklace permanent,use the following instructions,otherwise skip them and go on to the next step.
Using appropriate safety precautions (read directions on label) spray out a practice piece to get it right before you spray your piece,you only want a thin layer of gloss,dont flood it.
Do the other side,be sure to wait till each side is fully dry before turning it over,use waxpaper or anything to elevate the piece so it doesnt get stuck
After dry,next comes the tricky part.
Attaching the loop for the necklace.There are a number of creative ways,using thread to reinforce the attachment for example,and adding glue,but you can also put it on directly it just wont be durable.You can find a whole kit of loops,attachments,and other stuff at a walmart or craft store.You could always use a bent paperclip,but again,it wont be permanent.
That’s basically it,you have a medallion with a necklace loop on it ready to go.
