What are some reasons that make it unlikly Shakespear wrote the King James Bible?
I want some good reasons for a paper to support the argument that Shakespear did not write/translate the king James Bible. Nothing religious please. It would also be nice to have reasons i can source from somewhere else, so not just something you thought up.

Well initially my first thought is that anyone who has read the KJV Bible and Shakespeare’s plays would never even think that. I laughed just discovering that theory is out there! While themes in Shakespeare and in the Bible are similar (love, lust, murder etc) those are universal human themes, so that would be expected. The actual style of writing on the other hand, is so completely different. It is like saying A Tale of Two Cities was written by the same person who wrote Jane Eyre.
I am sorry I didn’t go looking for sources for you, but the fact anyone assigned a paper like that seems ludicrous to me, and not because I am religious, but because as an English major it just seems so far off.
But there are tons of weird theories behind Shakespeare so I guess I shouldn’t be too surprised right?
