I was saved 7 months ago after hearing the gospel preached at a baptist church. I never expected the Lord to change me so much, so fast. It has been powerful, and my faith is strong. My husband, Matt, is extremely offended by the gospel and is very hostile towards me. It is very, very wearing on our marriage. He views me as the enemy, and is contemplating teaching our 3 small children what he believes (Jesus is not Lord, the Bible is not true...etc..) My 6 year old is saved, and my 4 year old says he is. Both love the Lord Jesus very much. He says he will not have anymore children with me because of my beliefes . Please pray for the protection of my children and that my husband would be saved soon.
Our relationship has suffered greatly because of his bitterness and anger. He feels very threatened , and is insulted at the idea that he and his children are sinners in the eyes of God. He has gotten into New-agey, occult teachings of the Bible to justify his sin, and has so been indoctrinated into their lies. My husband is definately searching spiritually, but is very resistant to the truth. He thinks I am the one that is brainwashed and is harming the children. Please pray that the Lord would open the eyes of his heart to the truth. I pray that it is Gods will to bring my husband to salvation soon, before Satan can destroy our marriage.
