My husband and daughter are out tonight.  He is trying to help her to learn to ride her bike.  She is much older than most who are trying this and is very scared.  He is a great Dad and tries so hard, but loses his temper easily.  I have tried to teach her and she just gets too nervous and finds it easier to quit with me.

I have a god-daughter named Kayla. She is the one thing that keeps me from giving up, i truely believe God sent her into my life. She is now 6 yrs old. Originally, i was just the babysitter, but her mom started leaving Kayla with me more and more. I didn't mind she is a good girl.

Finally it came out that Kayla's mother was a drug addict,prostitute,abusive,atheistic, and a lesbian. Kayla's dad decided that the baby girl didn't need to live that lifestyle and that he needed to do something to keep her safe. (mom and dad wasn't married) So he took the mother to court and won custody. Kayla is not allowed to go anywhere with her mother alone.

That was a year ago, at first her mom obeyed all the rules. No she is showing up uninvited, calling 6 or 7 times a night, not paying child support. She is still using drugs and still prostituing herself. She keeps saying how she is going to get Kayla back one way or another.

Please pray that Kayla will remain with her dad. He is a good man, he is trying so hard to make a good Christian life for him and his daughter. He is having problems finacially and with his health. All and all its a very stress filled life for both of them. Please ask God to help them, to keep them safe, and for dad and daughter witness and experience the full beauty of God's mercy,love, and protection.
